SolidWorks Certifications

SolidWorks certifications can be used as a benchmark to measure your knowledge and competency with SolidWorks software. Exams focus on the fundamental skills necessary to ensure your company’s overall success using SolidWorks.

All Certifications are done online . You can take the certification exam at our Authorized Training and Support Centre.

The process to take the test is as follows:
   
Step 1: Purchase your Exam(s)
In order to take the online SolidWorks Certification Exam , visit the SolidWorks Web Store to purchase your exam.
 
Step 2 : Take your Exam(s)
Once you've purchased an online exam, you will receive two emails. One indicating that your testing account has been created, the other a receipt of your transaction. To begin your exam, simply download the virtual tester client as instructed and follow the directions. You will also need the exact information (login and password) that was supplied in the email notice.
 
Step 3: Print your Certificate(s)
When you achieve a certification, SolidWorks allows access to your electronic certificate(s). Each certified user will be given a user account where they can view , download, print their certificate(s)

CSWA – Certified SolidWorks Associate
  A Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA), is an individual who has successfully passed the SolidWorks fundamental skills examination. Each CSWA has proven their ability to design parts and assemblies using a variety of Core features in SolidWorks.

Sketch entities - lines, rectangles, circles, arcs, ellipses, centerlines

CSWP – Certified SolidWorks Professional
  A Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) is an individual who has successfully passed our advanced skills examination. Each CSWP has proven their ability to design and analyze parametric parts and moveable assemblies using a variety of complex features in SolidWorks software.

Segment 1: (90 Minutes)
Creating a part from a drawing
Using linked dimensions and equations to aid in modeling
Using equations to relate dimensions
Updating parameters and dimension sizes
Mass property analysis
Modifying geometry on initial part to create a more complex part
 
Segment 2: (40 Minutes)
Creating configurations from other configurations
Changing configurations
Mass properties
Changing features of an existing SolidWorks part
Creation and modification of a Design Table in an existing part
 
Note: Excel should be installed on the computer you are running SolidWorks to ensure that your Design Table functionality works properly for the exam.
 
Segment 3: (80 Minutes)
Creating an assembly
Adding parts to an assembly
Doing collision detection when moving a part in an assembly
Mates
Replacing a part with another part in an assembly
Creating a coordinate system
Using a coordinate system to perform mass properties analysis

CSWE – Certified SolidWorks Expert
  A Certified SolidWorks Expert is someone who easily demonstrates the ability to utilize advanced functions and features to solve complex modeling challenges. A CSWE will be well rounded in their knowledge of all areas of the SolidWorks software. A CSWE is able to solve practically any modeling problem given to them, and is traditionally the go-to SolidWorks user among their colleagues.
   
  To Qualify to take a CSWE Exam, a candidate must have :
 
Successfully passed the CSWP exam
Successfully passed at least three advanced topic exams

The Certified SolidWorks Professional Surfacing Specialist exam gauges your ability to use these tools in the creation of complex surfaces.Successful completion of this exam also shows the ability to troubleshoot and fix broken surface bodies or imported bodies that are incorrect.

  The Certified SolidWorks Simulation Professional exam tests your understanding of SolidWorks Simulation tools and simulation in general. Candidates who successfully pass this certification exam have demonstrated the ability to set up, run, and examine the results of various types of Simulation scenarios. They also have demonstrated the ability to interpret the various results available to them in SolidWorks Simulation and an understanding of the basics of simulation and FEA.
